Successful Live Fire Testing
An ECLIPSE development model was integrated with a laser, processor and missile warner in a highly successful live fire demonstration at the Tonopah Missile Range in Nevada. In this test, the ECLIPSE prototype micro pointer/tracker successfully acquired, tracked and defeated multiple missiles in flight.
Northrop Grumman's AN/AAQ-24(V) system has successfully completed:
- Over 4,000 hours of flight testing
- Over 200,000 jamming effectiveness tests
- Over 100 successful missile live-fire engagements, including combat operations in theater.
