REAACH Program Objectives

  1. Assist mathematics, science and technology education teachers in integrating engineering concepts and applications into lessons that address the content of Maryland’s Voluntary State Curriculum (VSC);
  2. Acquaint teachers with various engineering disciplines in high tech environments;
  3. Portray engineering as a challenging, multi-dimensional and exciting career choice;
  4. Expose teachers to best practice demonstrations, leading experiments and classroom applications;
  5. Provide networking/mentoring opportunity among teachers and with NGES engineers.
