Flying in revenue service since January 2007, Guardian has achieved a number of milestones in commercial aviation. During the 14-month evaluation program, Guardian™:
Accumulated more than 22,000 hours of system operating time;
Flew more than 4,500 sorties; and
Validated low impact to airline operations and aircraft performance, with fuel burn increase less than 3/4% and no impact to Flight Deck workload.
Deployable anywhere
Guardian™ is deployable anywhere, and is applicable to operations ranging from domestic short haul to international long haul. The system has flown in and out of 51 airports across the continental U.S. Simple installation makes the Guardian™ System ideal for rapid installation on aircraft going into areas of increased risk.
