February 8, 2012: Northrop Grumman Corporation has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) to repair avionics equipment on the SH-60 Seahawk helicopter and the EA-6B Prowler jet.

February 7, 2012: Northrop Grumman Corporation, together with DRS Technologies, today announced the delivery of the first Next Generation Automatic Test System (NGATS) to the U.S. Army. Under the terms of a low rate initial production (LRIP) contract, the Northrop Grumman-led team will deliver a total of eight LRIP configuration NGATS plus spares in 2012.

Air National Guard Deploys to Afghanistan With Northrop Grumman-Built LITENING G4 Pods
February 6, 2012: Northrop Grumman's LITENING G4 advanced targeting pod recently embarked on its first combat deployment with the Air National Guard on A-10 and F-16 Block 30 aircraft supporting Operation Enduring Freedom. The Air National Guard will use the LITENING G4 pod's advanced capabilities to complete their demanding mission in a wide range of conditions while in theater.

Northrop Grumman Selected for U.S. Army's Common Infrared Countermeasure Technical Demonstration Program
February 6, 2012: The U.S. Army has awarded Northrop Grumman Corporation a $31.4 million contract for the Common Infrared Countermeasure (CIRCM) Technical Demonstration (TD) program to develop the next generation of aircraft survivability equipment to defend helicopters against man-portable air-defense systems and other heat-seeking munitions.
