AN/TPQ-36(V)10 Firefinder Electronics Upgrade
Improved system performance and lower life cycle cost
The Firefinder AN/TPQ-36 Electronics Upgrade can be applied to all AN/TPQ-36 radars to enhance performance and greatly improve the operator’s environment. The upgrade kit introduces a new lightweight multipurpose shelter with more operating space and replaces 1970’s computer processing capability with a modern radar processor and lightweight computer. Greater processing power and the addition of a low noise amplifier to the radar antenna improves detection range (by up to 50%) and performance accuracy against certain threats.
