LTN-90-100 Inertial Reference System (IRS)
Advanced strapdown technology in component selection and efficient packaging in a 10 MCU ARINC 704 configuration. The system contains three 28-cm Ring Laser Gyros and three torque-restrained pendulous accelerometers in a miniature single assembly. Avionics inputs to the IRS are from the aircraft's Digital Air Data Systems (DADS) and the Flight Management System (FMS).
