MH-60R/MH-60S All-Glass Cockpit Video Monitor

Northrop Grumman Navigation Systems provides color Multi-Function Displays based on open architecture to allow easy reconfiguration for changing roles and missions as well as adding new technology.

The basic building blocks of the MH-60R/MH-60S All-Glass Cockpit Video Monitor include an industry standard PowerPC™ single board computer, a high-performance graphics processor, a universal video module, and a custom input/output (I/O) module. In various combinations these modules provide a display system that can grow from a simple video monitor to a high-performance display with digital maps and flight instrumentation.

A unique dual backlighting system makes the Active Matrix Liquid Crystal Display (AMLCD) the brightest available for sunlight readability, while being sensitive enough for night vision systems compatibility. Its multiple cold cathode fluorescent tubes provide long life, compact package, uniform luminance, and survivability in the most demanding environments.
