Military Avionics Multi-Function Display
The Military Avionics Multi-Function Display is a full-color, sunlight-readable display that clearly presents graphical data from the aircraft mission computer as well as sensor video data to pilots and other crew members. It combines rugged commercial and military components to provide the best possible mix of technology and cost-effective, reliable design.
The Military Avionics Multi-Function Display is based upon an Open System Architecture (OSA). It is available both as a video monitor and as a smart display system, and can be used as a CRT replacement. Smart display processing functions are provided through a combination of industry standard processors and specialized high-performance digital video processing chips.
